چکیده

Abstract The identification of hydro-meteorological trends is essential for analyzing climate change and river discharge at the watershed level. Ajora-Woybo in Ethiopia was studied long-term rainfall, temperature, annual, monthly, seasonal time scales. rainfall temperature data extend 1990 to 2020, whereas span from1990 2015. Pettitt Standard Normal Homogeneity Test (SNHT) tests were used determine homogeneity. Mann–Kendall Sen's slope tests, as well numerous variability measures, then employed trend analysis. degree relationship between variables determined using Pearson correlation coefficients (r). Inhomogeneity discovered annual from Angacha Areka stations. Rainfall showed insignificant over time, with increasing decreasing across Monthly observed be significantly falling February March. runoff increase just insignificantly during Kiremt season. On other hand, minimum, maximum, mean temperatures significant increases 0.01 °C, 0.04 0.025 respectively. In this study, relationships found moderate minimal, Generally, results examination hydrological parameters show that water resources vary throughout time. As a result, designing strategies require due attention. Article highlights Hydrological meteorological are resource Mann-Kendall along number utilized conjunction series analysis approach watershed's generally demonstrates how availability varies Designing suitable plans management sustainable development therefore essential.

Changes and Relationships of Climatic and Hydrological Droughts in the Jialing River Basin, China

The comprehensive assessment of climatic and hydrological droughts in terms of their temporal and spatial evolutions is very important for water resources management and social development in the basin scale. To study the spatial and temporal changes of climatic and hydrological droughts and the relationships between them, the SPEI and SDI are adopted to assess the changes and the correlations ...

Hydrological Response to Climate Change for Gilgel Abay River, in the Lake Tana Basin - Upper Blue Nile Basin of Ethiopia

Climate change is likely to have severe effects on water availability in Ethiopia. The aim of the present study was to assess the impact of climate change on the Gilgel Abay River, Upper Blue Nile Basin. The Statistical Downscaling Tool (SDSM) was used to downscale the HadCM3 (Hadley centre Climate Model 3) Global Circulation Model (GCM) scenario data into finer scale resolution. The Soil and W...

Hydro-climatic Trends of the Yellow River Basin for the Last 50 Years

Kendall’s test was used to analyze the hydro-climatic trends of the Yellow River over the last half century. The results show that: (1) the runoff of the basin has decreased even after allowing for human uses, (2) the watershed has become warmer with a more significant increase in minimum temperature than in mean and maximum temperatures, and (3) no significant change in precipitation trend was...

Analysis of hydroclimatic trends in the Atrak River basin, North Khorasan, Iran (1975 – 2008)

Hydrologic regime is highly dependent on climate change, as hydrologic cycle components are directly influenced by climatic conditions. This paper analyzes the impacts of climate change on the hydrologic regime of the Atrak River basin in the northeast of Iran. It drains to the Caspian Sea. The data collected at 11 hydrometeorological stations were examined to detect trends in hydroclimatologic...
